Having lost over 45 pounds himself, Steve has a passion for fitness (and baseball) and loves helping others achieve their fitness goals. His extensive background in the medical field has helped him be more aware of how important functional fitness truly is.

I’m just a fitness nut. I’m 41 now and started working out in a gym at age 19. I became a
certified personal trainer in my 20's, had 2 kids in my 30's, and have been active throughout. I love to snowboard and hike and jog (and biking with my girls), but my anytime, anywhere sport is skating...roller and ice. I was a USA Hockey referee for a few years, involved in roller derby for 5 years, and when it’s nice, I skate outdoors. Originally from San Francisco, I moved here 5 years ago and got involved with the roller derby. After I got pregnant, I began coaching and started up a junior roller derby team. I have now retired from derby as of last August. My focus at Spokane Boot Camp is to create a fun environment with lots of variety in exercises. Coming from many different sports, I feel Boot Camp is the best all over workout; it will help condition you for your other sports as well as just living a happier, healthier life.
